Maz Kanata AKA "Maz" Born in 2014, Maz Kanata's last race was in 2020. She was a successful race horse but it was time to move onto her next stride in life. Elaine saw her unique marking and it was love at first site. She was not the easiest to retrain, she is a typical mare and the saying with Maz is- if you want to ask her a question, please send her an email and if she feels like it she will respond within 7 to 10 business days. She is a quirky ride but when she chooses you, everyone knows it. She has attached herself to a select few youth and adults. So far her accomplishments include: Aloha State Dressage Society: High Point Award in Intro Level Dressage with 10 and 11 year old riders. 70% in Training Level with a youth rider. Has qualified multiple riders for Pony Club Championships in the showjumping and Dressage disciplines. Elaine also rides her bridleless and is the inspiration for the "Race to Bridleless Project".

Lights Astern AKA "Posie". Born in 2020, Posie joined us in December 2024 after finishing her racing career at Los Alamitos Racetrack in California—right up until the weekend she came home. From the very beginning, she made it clear she’s more than just an athlete; she’s a cuddle bug at heart who genuinely believes she’s a lap dog. With her tall frame, natural athleticism, and eager spirit, Posie is built for eventing and is already showing tremendous promise. Elaine sees in her the potential to one day shine at the upper levels of the sport, but for now, we’re simply enjoying every step of the journey with this sweet and talented mare. So far her accomplishments include making her debut in Intro Level Dressage at her very first Aloha State Dressage Society show.

Mr. Suds AKA "Suddy" (or Spud on occasion) Born in 2021, Suddy was an unforeseen addition to our herd, but we truly hit the jackpot with him! From the moment he arrived, he’s kept us smiling—playing with just about everything he can put in his mouth and proving to be the biggest goofball of the bunch. Despite being the biggest winner and highest earner of all our horses on the track, how he managed to win anything is still a mystery—because these days, he is wholeheartedly embracing retirement with every ounce of his goofy charm! While he may be full of mischief, Suddy is also showing us glimmers of brilliance. He made his debut in the Aloha State Dressage Society at Intro Level, earning scores in the 70% range—a sign of the bright future ahead. Still young and figuring out his new life, Suddy has the potential to shine in any ring he chooses. For now, we’re enjoying watching him grow, learn, and simply be himself every step of the way!
